Sopa de Castanha (Chestnut Soup)




1 cup of dried chestnuts

0.5 kg (17.64 ounces) potato

1 cup of dry beans

2 medium sized sweet potatoes

Pork seasoned with salt

Water, to taste 




Before preparing the soup, leave the chestnuts and the beans soaking overnight.

Afterwards, place all the ingredients boiling, expect the meat, for 2 hours, or until the vegetables are in pieces.

The meat is minced and served with the soup.
